scaley guide repair

Just discoveted 2 of my scaley cars with the black "quick change" guide have broken guode mounts. The cars are a Viper and Ferrari 330. The circular part of the frame the guide goes through, has a chunk out of it.
Would a piece of brass tube JB epoxyed in be a good way to rrpair?
Any other idead?

Maybe the bnova repair kit from scc?

Yep , agree with Bill use the B Nova replacement and or repair kit.
You'll be much happier in the long run.

Thanks everyone. Seems like the way to go. Any comments on the degree of difficulty?
Looks like Ill need to go through the rest of my cars get a list together and contact the fine folks at SCC
