I'm with you, SS. Slot car companies spend a lot of time and money getting their cars to look right, and some completely blow the effect when it comes to wheels and tires.
AutoArt came out with a BMW M3 GTR years ago that looked fantastic, until you noticed the 78-series street tires on the rear. AA is a company that's all about the looks of its cars, and the performance is secondary. It was very surprising to see that company miss the mark on such a basic appearance thing. I can see it with Slot.It, though, being a performance-oriented brand.
But it's nice when the fix is simple and straightforward. :)
