There were two bright flourescent greens available in 1970 Dodges, as near as I can tell from a quick google. Would you say the Posey car was "Lime Light" or "Sub Lime"? I see lots of photos that could be either one.

I would go Sublime, but that's just me.

Anyway, busy weekend but I'll let the car out of the bag.

Finished the chassis for this car. Just a very simplistic design, but it works.

I'm no Junior Urbas, but it will do.

Time to hit the paint shop and get it assembled for a test-n-tune this evening.

Looking good so far. I notice you chose the "plate" motor mount this time, is there a story there? Which one did you use, or did you drill that out yourself?

Finished. It took me awhile but I like to keep my audience riveted :)

Made my usual flat plate for body mounting. Cut the interior down to just a flat shell and glued a playing card on the bottom. Cut and glued the original roll bars inside the body. Used an MT Resins driver bust and then drilled and mounted the original Scalextric driver head.

Came out ok to my eyes. Fast too. Just about the same times as a tricked out platsic chassis car. Running best lap of 3.92I.

Lots of fun with this one. Glad to see it go.

Thanks. Here is one more shot showing the front. I used a DODGE decal from Slixx. Fit close enough I think.

No not yet Greg. But I plan to soon. Have some traveling to do and then back to the project bench.
One car that calls out to me is the Cougar. Even my rebuilt and slightly lowered version is no match for the rest of my fleet. So it might be the running mate I choose.
