Similar but different...

Did some work on my E-Type a few months ago as well. Did pretty much the same stuff with a two significant differences:

1. The stance did not look right so I lowered it like 2-3mm.
2. Guide was too far back for my taste so I sacrificed an unused chassis (for the life of me I cannot recall what it was!) and grafted the guide in front of the stock guide position.

It is now a lovely runner: far too quick for what it should be.

But it is so pretty...

Definitely taken care of all that Bibbster. Even ground the top two turns of thread off near the screw head.

Even with just these few things done it makes a huge difference to the car. For a narrow car it is quite well planted through the corners and the hills. But looking forward to seeing how far I can take it.

It just has so much more potential than the clam shell design of the Ninco. Shame the Ninco needs attacking with a Dremel.

May yet get the urge to paint it. Not a big fan of red cars, and well... already have a red E-type
