that is some fine old shots, that kid on the floor could have been me, my brother and me kept our slot track under the bunk bed and I was always on the floor

I recently found old movies of my sister and me racing in the basement....it was 1/24 Marx and she always had to have the Ferrari (maybe that's how I came to like Chaparrals....) in the set. I still have it....and it runs.
Lots of old slot stuff from my dad...it's how I got re-started in the hobby back 20 years ago.

Here I am at my first race in 1965.

It's cool looking at pictures from the past. One thing I noticed, the people are thin. :-)

Oh, man! Those were the days, when my biggest problem was where the money
for new tires was going to come from. I love these old shots, and the old magazine
articles. Who remembers when Rod and Custom had a slot racing section?
