Over 5 decades later, if those magazines were still around I'd subscribe and enjoy a fun read each month. I miss the car culture of the 50's and 60's and models and slot cars allowed me to be 'in the game' years before I got my driver's license or owned a car.

I wonder if there will be any sail powered cars in the Indy 500 this year? I remember reading about a team trying that in one of these fine magazines.

I admit it. I have all of my CARToons, Model Car Science, Car Model, and Model Car Racing mags, among others. I have a Road & Track with a green '66 Mustang Station Wagon on the cover. Gorgeous. They should have continued it.

Cartoons is still around. I have a subscription. They started printing again @ 3 years ago.

Went to their website and did a search for places it says carry Cartoons - a Walmart shows on the map in a town I'll be in tomorrow! I'm going to check it out.

Next new issue will be August. They take PayPal for subscriptions and back issues.
