Yeah I dig it. I need to break out some of the old mags and get some photos.

Yeah, I have a stack of CARtoons in a box in storage.

Lot of nice pictures! Everything looks mint. The Monogram Riverside set looks brand spanking new. Probably my favorite race set ever made.

Check out my long time acquaintance Bob Hardin from NJ. He was one of the final group of staff artists at Hot Rod CARtoons magazine. His "Slot Car Thrillustrations" series is very cool, and of course professionally done. Much of his work relates to the HO scale part of the hobby, but not all of it is HO specific. It's very entertaining and relatable, jarring memories and bringing smiles at the same time.
He is a vendor at the NJ Slot Car Shows in Parsippany, NJ - the next being Sunday, May 19th. If you can attend the show you can view and purchase prints in person from him. He's a good friend to the hobby and a nice guy to talk to. Bob's website is <slotcarthrillart.com> if you can't get to the shows.
