To be honest, I got most of my information this morning from Wikipedia. I knew all of it by heart at one time but it is impossible to keep all of that stuff stored in my aging brain in perpetuity.

I recall reading somewhere recently that either the cooper or the King Cobra when americanized with a V8, became an almost undriveable monster.
I think it may have been the Cooper , because if memory serves me , The car was originally a british made care, brought over and modified.
I may be a bit off here, and somebody may know a bit more, but I think I'm in the general area.

Are you guys going to stick with the Artin chassis for the build becasue I think I have a couple extra if someone needs one. Almost picked up the Birdcage but have to wait for payday. JIm

Thanks Jim. I am well stocked on Artin here and I am running Monogram Grand Sport Corvette chassis in mine. Maybe one of these other guys might need one.

Jim I use them quite a bit on my old Strombecker rebuilds, save them! you might get to liking them like us crazy folks!
and to answer your question, yes, I am using the Artin chassis.

I plan on the Artin chassis as a base too.
They are great little platforms for fun runs.
Depending on how this develops, we'll see what motor ie Artin or MT 10K etc.
And of course the other stuff like tires and wheels.
Im all about the fun, so it dosent matter which way it goes.
And I think Mike and Bob are onto a good thing here,,, perhaps a yearly happening ????

Bob do you have any spare clear parts for the Ferrari? I missed another red Farreri that had a windshield. I didn't monitor my lowball bid and got out bid.

I may have, but it will be only one side headlight lens for either car. I made my last two sets because of the lack of a set of either.
No windscreens, sorry
