Great review lads.
I see the dpr panel on the bottom of the Scalextric Kart.
So I imagine it can be made digital.
Good News for Bob T and Mike .

Thanks. The C8516 F1 chip fits behind the guide I am informed.

Way behind on this one but just received one of these thru a certain contact we have.
Cool looking little fellow.Had PG tires on it when we received it.Put him stock on my Carrera track. The cart was really stuck to the track to say the least, though I only had the power at 12..Barely Moved.
Pulled the mags and the magic happened..Totally different fellow. These little rascals are a hoot..They track very well with the PG's on them but you still get just enough of the drifting action that we enjoy..
I'm sure most of the folks that wanted these have already purchased them but we just had to add to the fun.
Thanks for the review Harry..

For the Ninco karts, we swapped the motors for Tomy Tigers, and they were much better. It looks to me as though such a modification will not be necessary for these. Also, I think it was wise for Scaley to drop the steering front for these karts, as the steering front end on the Ninco karts was very delicate and we were constantly guarding against stressing them. I can't say the magnets had any effect on the Nincos, since they drove exactly the same on plastic track or wood.
