We've been looking for some cars that would match the size of the cars that came out with the republic tool Drag sets back in the 70's..These cars are bigger then 1/43,but smaller then 1/32.Just about the right size for a decent size strip with shifting .Ran across some of the ol' Procter & Gamble Go Funmate cars .These came out around 72.Promo item attached to P&G products.Just think, cool idea.
"Mom don't we need some more Biz detergent?" Ask little Johnny.. ;)
Bodies are detailed and chassis was spring loaded.
I just grafted an modified Artin Chassis into the Funmate chassis and now we have some more dragsters.
I know these aren't up to some folks standards, but this is all for fun.Plus they run better than the Republic tool cars do.

Old trick! I had those as a kid and still have some now - Maverick and Mustang. Planning on doing the same. Great work!

Thanks guys,just pure fun..
They do kinda all look like LTDs for sure.
These two are their Thunderbird and Cougar.Needless to say early 70's.
Funmate, like Motorific , made all of their cars to fit about the same size chassis.
They made several different ones,Mustang Mach 1,Maverick, Montego, and Torino.I'm sure some others..
