Mooneyes Funny Car - 1/32 scale

About 2-3 months ago, someone posted a 1/32 Duster Funny Car on HRW Facebook, and since then I've been hooked on the little buggers.
I've since gathered a few, and finally got one done up and ready to race at our next drag event.
It's a modern livery of the Jim Dunn Mooneyes funny car on a 70's Duster body. I think they fit the car pretty well. Decals were done by Slotcar Fever.
While making a brass chassis was a bit of work, the rear tires were the biggest challenge I had. I was able to make a mold of the model kit tires, and made some urethane ones from that mold (our club requires urethane tires).

Thanks for the compliments guys, much appreciated!! :music-rockout:

tjettom-yes, the wheels are 1/32. They're CB Design 5 spoke Classics. The rears are 15x10's and the fronts are 15x7's.

Say there...I'd sure love me a pair or two of those slicks...Anybody willing to sell some? Slicks is all that's keepin me from building a couple gassers. Ya know... somebody needs to fill the void of slicks then watch 1/32 dragster racing pick up fast!
Regards,
Tom

That turned out GREAT!
And I second Tom's comment - definitely wouldn't mind a set or three of those slicks myself!
(haven't dabbled in the casting of urethane yet)
:)
