1957 Chevy Pro Sportsman (Revell)

G'day Guys,

Here are some pictures of our latest 1/24 scale drag car that we have brought over to Oz from the US....

Its a Revell '57 body on a WRP/stainless tube chassis with Pro-Track wheels, Sonic gears and Pro-Slot speed FX 16D motor.

Its a new build, color is a tangerine that changes shade (the photos were taken outside when it was overcast).

I'm going to work out what class I want to run this one at our club (Nomad Raceway Toowoomba), and make changes as necessary.

Not wrong Dave,

I think we have nine classes of cars in total at club, its a heck of a hill to climb starting with zip....

....I've got five of the classes covered, have another one on the go at the work bench at the moment and a couple of new chassis kits in the parts box, so heaps of work ahead for me over the coming year.

Im finding the bracket classes the trickiest to set up for, the guys at club have got their cars that well tuned they will pretty much run right on the knocker of the breakout time, quite amazing when you think about it. Thats where Ill need to be spending a bit of my time. If I can get the gearing close enough, I can fine tune with the tyre truer (mmpr), but it will take time to achieve this.

Anyway all good, will keep me occupied :)
