Where can I find some rules for building vintage modifieds ? I have been surfing all night, ready to pull what little hair I have out :) Thanks

I hate to disappoint you, but we have all pretty much hacked on our own. There are lots of demos on HRW showing how its done.

If you're looking for really good vintage modified bodies.I suggest either Big Donkey Resins, or TJ's Custom Castings.

Thanks for the imput. The picture everyone posted are what I want to build. As for racing untill I build my own bull ring I dont for see it. We have a local High Bank oval. Speeds are very high and things happen fast and very much damage. I am looking into building my own 6x12 with a little slower speeds. Have raced HO for years but it has all but died out locally, 2 hour drive to the closest track. Right now I have a small 4 lane 1/32 oval to play on. so building will give me something to work on. I have built some cars but have never finished them up so finishing one is my first goal. Will be asking alot of questions. Thanks Tim :mrgreen:

If you want slower speeds, and less risk of damage.You're best bet is going with the blue Hawk 18,000 R.P.M. motor.I would go with the stock H&R chassis.We run on a 14'x6' routed 5 lane oval and you've got more than enough power to get around though you'll still need to slow for the turns.In other words you'll have to "drive"the track.
