So just how mangled was that car after the tumble? And did you extend the fence then, or just rename that Dead Man's Curve?

It is still running :)
Yes, the fences were rebuilt and I added an extension.
Usually folks end up in Curly's yard...but once in awhile we catch some air :)

If you can't beat 'em, wreck 'em is a philosophy. Works well as well.

Hey Harry!
You need some of the ergonomically correct floor mat on the floor for just that instance you choose to catch some air!!
Plus its easy on the feet from standing for awhile racing also......

See what happens when you equip your cars with "nerf bars"? They get used!

Looks like it's time to install a catch fence, about 10" of Plexiglas should do it, unless you plan on running 40,000K motors, then I would recommend small parachutes or a marshall with a catchers mitt. When we run the Tour Cars (Whelan Mods) we use chicken wire to keep them from launching the catch fence and hitting the garage wall about six feet up. It really bends the chassis  :naughty:
Love your Jalopys, my favorite type of race car.
