My new oval has been up and running for some time now. I've been spending some time dialing in my cars for the new track. New bodies, offset wheels, a couple of new jalopies, and then the midget bug bit me so I had to rebuild some Sprints Plus cars to make some midgets. Finally it was time to have a race and tomorrow is the day. Here's the lineup of cars we'll be running:



The front row has my new midget cars - the missing driver in the blue car has just been painted and is still drying.



The sportsman and modifieds are the favorites amongst my racers.



I recently built up a bunch of Womps into late model cars. And the jalopies in the back row are just a few of the hard body cars we'll be running.



Tomorrow's race starts at noon. Most of our racers are new to oval tracks, so it should be interesting.

Thanks for the compliments on the cars. We had a great time, and ended up racing for about six hours. I have to say I was a bit nervous about building an oval, since most of my fellow racers all have road courses. But for a club track it's a refreshing change of pace.
