We run a class of Vintage Grand National by Revell Mono. Is there anything out there that would be a replacment for the obsolete chassis for it? So far I found some of the Pioneer chassis are close but their not always in available, Wondering what would be a fit. any help would be welcome.
Thanks

Consider building a metal chassis.
Mine's a simple ladder one with adjustable wheel base.

I like the modeling detail, so I kept most of the interior tray and driver figure
with a bit of cutting.

I just had the body, but I'll venture to say it runs better than the original.

It's one of my favorite builds.

I have a new (in bag) chassis kit if you need it.
Shipping will be $US10.00 because I am in New Zealand....plus the price of the chassis which is $15US.00
PM me if you want to know more.

Nice looking chassis , I just hope the chassises I plan on building are any where close to the ones I see here , will be using the same concept with the frames I plan on building for my 1/24 scale dragsters I will build

I planning on using square tubing also , but the inside one will be square also, figured it would make the frame a little stiffer, and since they will be drag cars I figured the stiffer the better ( that what she wanted ) get that comment out of the way.

And they do sell the chassis for those models, I am using them for the RMS resin bodies I have, I had to add extra mounding spots for them , but that wasn't as hard as I would have thought. The only thing I had to do was sand down the mounting spots on the chassis so they would fit level with the body.

I know where you can get a replacement chassis if you are still looking for it, go to Professer Motor web site , part number is PMTR8508, it is the correct chassis for the Monogram bodies also because I got two bodies from SCC, and the mounting holes line up perfectly. I hope that helps, and I am sorry , I should have known what you were talking about before.

The only thing you may need to get is the bar magnets that go with that chassis, whose you will have to buy separate

Just another thing about the Monogram chassis, and the mag nets, Professor Motor has the magnets also , part #pmtr1032, you will have to cut them down a little but they are the ones that come the closet to size.
