Out of the barn-shop and into the house...
Reorganized downsized "stuff" in the house....Now to get people to come and race...The room sure reflects the light, unlike the pictures I took when set up in the shop, nothing but blackness in the background before.....The track is up against one corner it is 19' long and 9' wide, lane spacing up to 6'' down to 2 1/4'' in the squeeze....I need to get some body over here to video just how awesome the squeeze is and the different ways of getting into position to make a pass....Words cant describe how fun it is....I can run ghost cars inside and out with silicone tires...I run the center with just foam tires to get less traction,, adjust the speed of each lane with ''rheostat'' type regulators...It is a hoot...

The driver stations are individual and mobile...they hang off the wall lip, just lift em up and move to a different view....But the best place is in-front of the squeeze...

Pyramid power supply variable from 6-15 volts.....

The D shape shows up better from this end, love the increasing radius's....

You may have already tried this - putting tape over braid or copper tape going into a turn to slow a ghost car down. Pieces of clear tape placed here and there (trial and error method) let you kick up the power on a ghost car and still slow it down where needed. I used to do this on my oval and it got to the point that for a 10 lap heat it took very smooth driving to get by the ghost car. Push too hard and with the extra drift I'd actually fall further behind.
I got it to the point that if I was entering turn 3 as the ghost car was coming out of turn 4 to start the race, I could make up the distance and get in position by lap 9 to make the winning pass on the back straight a little better than half the time.
A lot of fun and also taught me to be a patient driver. Most of all I hope you find racing buddies to go at it with using all 4 lanes.

I ran a 50 lap race against 2 ghost trucks and all finished with the distance between 1,2,3 was the length of the straight....I can adjust lane volts independently in1 percent increments......
The last race we ran at Raytown International Raceway was an Iroc with rental nasscars painted the lane colours.....you ran 5 minutes in each lane and we had 12 people show up to race the 6 lane oval....2,3,4 had 626 laps each and all within 4' of each other.......
