Here's the newest addition to my fleet, I used a AMT Grant King sprint car kit for the hood and tail, found the driver on ebay, sorry I forget the seller. I used a sprint plus chassis and lenghted it to meet the S.C.O.R.E. 1/24 sprint car rules. Decals a vintage AMT and custom numbers that I had made. I tried to copy the roll cage from the rear car, I'm pleased with the end results. I have been wanting to use these body parts for a while to make a slot car. So far the car runs good too, just need to breaker her in a little more. Hope you will enjoy this post, of course comments are always welcome, enjoy!

that turned out realy nice! car looks great! one question is there any particular reason you used rivets in the chassis?

One question are the back tires sealed and why?

Very nice car. I have always admired that kit for slot car conversion. I have done three of them but I have always turned them into midgets by shortening them to 3" WB to fit the Sprints Plus chassis. One of these days I should go for the full length car as you have done. Again, VERY NICE car. I love you brass work.

That is truly spectacular. One of the best I've seen and there have been a lot of them here on HRW.

Are the rear numbers custom done or are they from the kit? The gold leaf is very well done.
