Hello Oval Racers,

Yea.. I am still around ( still in cancer battle mode ) .. Sorry, I haven't been on HRW for sometime.. But I do visit the Facebook HRW group page.

Well, we are just starting our new racing season next week, Great fun group..lots of laughs and hard racing..
Tri State Slot Car Oval and Drag racing

Only issue is nobody can scratch build, plus its hard to make a bunch of scratch built cars equal.. so I came up with some easy build slot chassis, just put them together. I current have made over a dozen designs so far with more coming..surprising strong, fast and super lightweight. here are just a few fun things..

NOT FOR SALE!!!!!

vintage midgets and sprints

Late models even chassis that leans into the turns

Just a few...You get the idea..have more bodies in resin and 3D chassis to match.. Race hard, turn Left

Again.. Not For Sale!!!!

Thanks

I've had a Midget kit for a couple of years. I just can't find or make a chassis that works.
I could use one of those, or just drool.

Really nice. Great way to do the Midgets. Your work is "art".

Fantastic job. Now for a barrage of questions. What program do you use to model these up? What kind of printer, extruded or laser? Have you tried the rivets for the front axles yet for independent fronts? Now that you have my attention with these I need to hurry up and finish my current Falcon project so that I can start another. Have fun with those.

First of all, keep strong fighting the big C, we're all with you. It's a family kindda thing.

Secondly, thanks for posting the images and photos of your creations - great work! You definitely have some (many?) of us drooling since what you've come up with addresses types of cars HRW folks are into, but not served by major manufacturers.

Thankfully, I already have way too many cars to even consider amazing 3D stuff like in your post. There was a time I'd see stuff like that and become obsessed, but I'm in recovery now. Yes, I did buy 5 slot cars in the last month or so and just traded for another, but I've got things under control. I've got some letters after my name so what part of 'Not For Sale' could I not understand? If you were giving these things away I'd have to decline. Definitely. Most likely. Probably. Maybe.

I'm looking forward to your answers to ccobra's questions. Those 3D computer files you've created could be put to good use by someone in the HRW community with access to the right equipment. Not me of course, I already have way too many cars. I'm just thinking about others - it's a family kindda thing.

Great stuff - like that 'high roll center' dirt mod late model deal. Working on similar oval projects, but I have been moving at a Snail's space on those fronts.

Have often thought about pendulum action for oval track weight transfer - It might even work for leaning motorcycles...

Really like the midgets - lots of functional practical value for racers.

I can see the quality work on the late model dirt bodies and chassis but I relate to the asphalt Modifieds, so I have been fooling more with that stuff.

Great to see you posting and doing such great work! Great pics - lots to look at - love these unique projects.

Thanks!

More super cool subjects - I definitely have stuff to share - COE tanker, figures, and modified chassis are just great examples of more unique pieces.

Really inspiring stuff!
