Great day of racing. 11 year old Gawain Smith has really taken to the old coupes and notched wins in both the Early Modifieds and Islip legends. The Islip division was the closest of the day, with the top 4 cars separated by a total of only one lap. Gawain won by 12 inches. Jim Rhodes has found his groove in the Modifieds, getting his second win of the season. Veteran driver Larry Swift now has back to back wins in the Stock car division, and the title will come down to a one race duel.
