Dennis,
You will have to post some pictures of your track.
Short and wide seems like it could be fun and flat out.

Dennis has a great track for some good door-bangin' action! You can run lap after lap hoping someone will choke in the turn. He and I have started a great new class for our tracks; street stock. We have tried many chassis, tire, and motor combinations and have come up with the following specs. Street stock cars all have H&R chassis, 27mm x 12mm tires front and back (silicone in back), 26k H&R motor, vintage NASCAR hard body, and 2 7/8" max track width. We run these on 12 volts for some real close racing. This is an effort to slow things down and make it a drivers' race instead of a "who has the fastest car" race. Believe me, on Dennis' track these cars were a blast. If you are in the area give Dennis a yell for some great hospitality and racing!

How about some details on the power regulation? Balancing of the lanes, etc. Thanks in advance.

Old Jaybird
I HAVE PUT A 5 AMP VOLTAGE REGULATOR ON EACH LINE
I HAD GOOD LUCK WITH MOST OF MY CLASSES
BUT NOT S-16-D AND FALCON MOTORS AT LOWER VOLTAGE, TO MUCH CURRENT AND HOT
YOU CAN GOOGLE IT AND SEE WHAT I HAVE
