Locoracer Tom is visiting and he picked me up a special car as a gift. It is the 2008 Hobbytown special edition SCX NASCAR that they produced the same time they made our own car.



New PG tires and normal tuning has this thing hauling the mail quite easily.

Lot of fun as usual. These cars might still be one of the best roundy-rounders we ever had made in our hobby. I know it was fun tuning this, brought back great memories.

You really should think about Dave.

I cannot tell you how many times I had that car in my hand at the Hobbytown in COS. But, I have two Slotburger version for the oval ;)

Have to say we are having quite a time. Had planned on some building...but now the Skunkworks looks like 2009 with these cars laying about.

I have one more of these. It's been sealed in a mason jar I took from Funkenwaggnel's porch back in 09.

Both new tires and tuning. So close, one mistake and your sniffing dust.
