So I think she's done as its gonna get done. Aluminum channel chassis, MT slim line motor, SCX Pro 10/26 gears, these wheels/tires are H&R wheels with PG rubber glued on and then cut down for the thin look. Also have a pair of Pro Track foams cut down the same. The PG did great on my plastic track, not sure how they'll handle the lumber. And I was too scared to try and glue that windsheild on without risking ruining the build. Im just not that skilled at that part.

Proxy entrant GTi has completed his second Midget build. This one is from the "Big Donkey" kit. I like this one even better than his first one (EJ's kit). Paul was nice enough to sell me one of his EJs kits and start me on my way to my present total of 10(!) midgets.

The chassis used was just for the sake of taking a picture of it on a chassis. That chassis is from one of his sprint builds and wont be used for the Midget. Once the chassis is complete, I'll post more pics of the car.

Gene @ Tosaracewaypark sent me pictures of this ol' warrior as a potential entry in the proxy. When I explained that we have limited the entries to only models of 60's era cars, he graciously agreed to use an older style body. I did want to post the pictures anyway to show another variation of the Midget.

Gene is working on a "how to" column on his site and he'll give me a heads-up when it's done. It should have loads of info on building a race worthy Oval track racer.

I missed these last few posts - great looking cars - I am *really interested* in that steerable front end from GTi. What is that? Maybe you can post some pix?

Between that car and the Tosa Raceway Park car(s) I am thinking there are going t be some FASTER commercial-style midgets out in the field - uh-oh.

Yeah - I would like to see a pic of the Ninco F-1 front end steering setup/conversion on that chassis if possible. I understand that another chassis will be fabricated - I wonder if it will have steering?

I know this is a Fun Proxy and not really competitive... and I am very happy to see the Tosa Raceway Park car(s) in the mix! They are kind of *The Authority* on Midget home racing - they have a great website and a long history - Great stuff!
