3D printed 1/32 sprint car chassis

On similar cars I have cut the body panels from an ice cream container lid and the tail piece I made from a plane propeller nose cone from the hobby shop with a little remodelling.
It all worked out pretty much bullet proof.

Wheelbase on my 3D printed chassis is 2.6" - 1/32 scale....
The cage started life as a scale replica - but once I broke the first 5-6 versions - the bar size was increased and I added a few features that would stand up to a typical impact..... Bumpers always broke - so now they can be made from brass rod - and the holders are tapered on the inside - so on impact the bumper should slide a little into the chassis - absorbing some of the impact by "crushing"...
It's a much different animal than a brass car - meant more for home bullrings... Maybe there was influence from hanging around the HRW forums :whistle:
It was a nice departure from doing chassis when it started - then it got very complex because of the 3D material limitations - and it went on the back burner for 3 months.... It was a lot of time and frustration (that's why it's named the El Diablo)- but it's a fun little car now.....I made yet another change to it about a month ago based on feedback from a very reputable racer....

I just got an email from Spain this morning (in Spanish :think: ) asking about the cost and parts needed to get it going..... Pretty cool that it got noticed where they don't race them.... maybe they are confused by my term "Bull Ring"......
