Using the Tire Razor I trued the wheels first and then installed the tires.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-344\" src=\"http:\/\/www.homeracingworld.us\/TeamHRW\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/10\/fronts2.jpg\" alt=\"fronts2\" width=\"800\" height=\"537\" srcset=\"https:\/\/homeracingworld.us\/TeamHRW\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/10\/fronts2.jpg 800w, https:\/\/homeracingworld.us\/TeamHRW\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/10\/fronts2-640x430.jpg 640w, https:\/\/homeracingworld.us\/TeamHRW\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/10\/fronts2-768x516.jpg 768w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 800px) 100vw, 800px\" \/><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 24px;\">I usually sand until the surface is smooth.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 24px;\">Perform the same step for the rear. This helps in achieving a smooth body-to-chassis float.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-full wp-image-440 alignnone\" src=\"http:\/\/www.homeracingworld.us\/TeamHRW\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/10\/cusac8.jpg\" alt=\"cusac8\" width=\"800\" height=\"530\" srcset=\"https:\/\/homeracingworld.us\/TeamHRW\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/10\/cusac8.jpg 800w, https:\/\/homeracingworld.us\/TeamHRW\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/10\/cusac8-640x424.jpg 640w, https:\/\/homeracingworld.us\/TeamHRW\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/10\/cusac8-768x509.jpg 768w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 800px) 100vw, 800px\" \/><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 24px;\">Removing the &#8220;lip&#8221; around the body post areas helps even more. I combined it with a Sloting Plus guide. Sloting Plus makes outstanding quality guides and are half the price (or more) than other brands.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 24px;\">Installing this is fairly easy. I install the guide with braid and then place the assembly into the chassis on a setup block. This gives me almost the prefect height. We have been racing these on wood tracks and non-magnet on Carrera track for many years with these modifications and it really smooths them out.
