No other brands.<br \/>\nTrack clearance: 1\/8 is a good minimum to start but can go as low 3\/32.<br \/>\nI include this minimum due to some of the chassis like H&amp;R being in between the two heights in many cases.<br \/>\nAny motor bracket or scratch bracket allowed.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><strong><span style=\"font-size: 24px; color: #993300;\">Running Gear:<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 20px;\">Wheels will be the narrow H&amp;R\/Pro-Track &#8220;Fronts&#8221; or the new CB Design Series all around.<br \/>\nYou can choose between smooth (ribless) wheels or the newer wheels with inner rib.<\/span><br \/>\n<span style=\"font-size: 20px;\">Tire width should not exceed 12.5 MM. Which will be no issue as you must use the PG Tires listed.<\/span><br \/>\n<span style=\"font-size: 20px;\">You can utilize 3\/32 or 1\/8 axle bore.<\/span><br \/>\n<span style=\"font-size: 20px;\">Gear ratios are your choice. I will suggest 9\/27 or 9\/28 as this seems the best on our size oval.<\/span><br \/>\n<span style=\"font-size: 20px;\">Slot.it, Scaleauto, Parma, H&amp;R, JK gears allowed.<\/span><br \/>\n<span style=\"font-size: 20px;\">Guide can be larger commercial grade or any Sloting Plus, Slot.it, Scaleauto 1\/32 guide.<\/span><br \/>\n<span style=\"font-size: 20px;\">Your choice of braid.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 24px; color: #ff0000;\">MOTOR:<\/span><\/p>\n<p><strong><span style=\"font-size: 20px;\">We will be using only the SCC JAWS or new Predator Long Can (The JAWS replacement) motor.<br \/>\nThe NSR Baby King (17,000 RPM EVO 3 MOTOR) also allowed.<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #3366ff;\"><strong><span style=\"font-size: 24px;\">Tires:<\/span><\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p><strong><span style=\"font-size: 20px;\">Only Paul Gage tires allowed on rear. Sizes 28125 or 26125<br \/>\nIf using smooth wheels without the inner rib, 28120 or 26120<br \/>\n<\/span><span style=\"color: #ff0000;\"><em>NO OTHER TIRE ALLOWED ON THE REAR<\/em><\/span><\/strong><br \/>\n<span style=\"font-size: 20px;\">Older foams or older urethane\/rubber allowed on fronts only.<\/span><br \/>\n<span style=\"font-size: 20px;\">Overall diameter should be no less than 25mm. These are not LMP or low profile type cars.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><strong><span style=\"font-size: 24px; color: #ff9900;\">Bodies:<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 20px;\">Common sense should be your guide.<br \/>\nTime period: 1959 to 1964<\/span><br \/>\n<span style=\"font-size: 20px;\">Any\u00a0 American sedan 1\/25th or 1\/24th plastic model kit body that they used in the series.<br \/>\nNo El Caminos, Rancheros, or Trucks.\u00a0<\/span><br \/>\n<span style=\"font-size: 20px;\"><em><strong>I will suggest 1\/25th<\/strong><\/em>. There is a difference albeit slight in some cases.\u00a0<\/span><br \/>\n<span style=\"font-size: 20px;\">NO short box models. That means no Mustangs\/Camaros, etc.\u00a0<\/span><br \/>\n<span style=\"font-size: 20px;\">We are talking about those large and long sedans here. We will give you examples.<\/span><br \/>\n<span style=\"font-size: 20px;\">If the trunk is longer than the hood, you likely have the right model to start \ud83d\ude42<\/span><br \/>\n<span style=\"font-size: 20px;\">If you find a kit, simply ASK ME and I will make the call.<\/span><br \/>\n<span style=\"font-size: 20px;\">NO resin or clear lexan bodies. Standard model kit bodies only.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 24px; color: #800080;\"><strong><span style=\"color: #008000;\">Modeling Notes:<\/span><\/strong><br \/>\nThis series follows the same spirit as our 1\/32 Showdown.<br \/>\nIt is about MODELING as much as performance. Try to recreate a car that would look the part on the track during that time. Added scale detail is HIGHLY encouraged!<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 20px;\">Wheels\/Tires must be INSIDE the body. NO enlarged fenders or flares.<\/span><br \/>\n<strong><span style=\"font-size: 20px;\">Must have interior. Simple flat stock with driver and roll bar accepted. <\/span><\/strong><br \/>\n<span style=\"font-size: 20px;\">NO lexan formed trays. They look horrible and this is about MODELING as well as performance.<\/span><br \/>\n<span style=\"font-size: 20px;\">Must have glass in place. Either kit or clear plastic you had to make.<\/span><br \/>\n<span style=\"font-size: 20px;\"><strong>Body to track clearance should be 1\/8 and not to exceed 3\/32.<\/strong> Any lower and you risk dragging.\u00a0<\/span><br \/>\n<span style=\"font-size: 20px;\">Models will be painted to match the style NASCAR used at the time. Either model a 1:1 prototype or create your own style.<\/span><br \/>\n<span style=\"font-size: 20px;\"><strong>Again, common sense here.<\/strong> <em>There is no shortage of photographs for you to use as a guide.<\/em><\/span><br \/>\n<span style=\"font-size: 20px;\">Wheels should look like the time period. Basically plain steel wheels. Either inserts or the CB Design Steelies.
