From the moment I unwrapped it, this model just had me shaking my head. Sitting it trackside and just admiring the work had me grinning from ear to ear and I couldn’t wait to grab the camera and begin the shoot.

Tom called me and explained how to get the body off. The side bars were meticulously crafted to slip in the sides and with just little effort we were inside.

Yes I know. Just a head shaker isn’t it?

Crafting the wire for the fuel lines and even the battery cables.

Motivation. That is what seeing a slot car like this does for me. The modeling aspect of our series is half the fun and Tom delivered it in spades. I may not ever build one to this detail level, but it will be fun to try. Thanks Tom!
