This is just a quick guide to the wheels and tires we are using on many of our custom builds. CB Design makes different versions such as Insert, , Steelie, F1/Modified, Racing, etc. This article focuses on just the sizes and tires.
These are the sizes for both Sportsman and Strangebrew Modifieds.
Only PG tires allowed on rear.
The difference between the CB Design 15×11 and 15×10 that affects the tire you choose is the center rib area.
As you can see the 15×11 has a wider rib than the 15×10
This applies to all styles of these sizes, Steelie, Insert, Racing, etc.
There are 2 sizes of tires designed for each wheel
Paul Gage 22166FF for 15×10
Paul Gage 22168FF for 15×11
The outside of the tires are the same size.
It is only the inside recessed area that is different.
