All it took was the right paint scheme. The model isn’t a new mold by a long shot, but it is the first in my personal collection.

Not only do I like the GULF colors, but the packaging Scalextric uses for them. Just adds nice display appeal.

The slimline motor is fairly hot for a small car like this, but with some tuning we had the model running very respectable laps.

By tuning I just meant some fresh tires and a little weight.

Very pleased with this little outfit. Decent running gear all around and in this famous scheme it likely is the best yet.
