The race is this SATURDAY 3/3/2018. Racing starts at 1pm Mountain Time and I'll post the FaceBook Live link as we get closer.
All cars are tech'd. One car had an issue that I've reached out to the owner on - due to my tech'ing things so close to the event - I fixed it and have contacted him.
The official guidelines say that track voltage will be set at 12 v or lower. When we run proxies here, we typically use 10-11 v depending on the cars. This seems the best compromise for getting the most distance out of the cars. For 21.5k motors, I think 12 v is way too much and will result in a lot of de-slotting. I find that 10.5 v is about right if you are well familiar with the car, but 10v might be better for proxy racing. Do we know how the hosts will be selecting the voltage?
I agree with this. We run 10v at my place, but others run up to 12v. The cars are much faster this year, so depending on results at my place, I will notify the other hosts to watch their volts as well.
