I picked mine up from Cloverleaf the other day...while I have not put it on the track yet everything about is very nice, Matt did a great job in sourcing his parts, one of the few cars I won't change at least 50% of the parts on...I am going to run it against some slot.it classic cars next week in our series at Cloverleaf......The CB Design wheels and Quick Slicks on the rears are what you should expect to get on a car like this... :text-thankyouyellow:

The car came out well I think.
Its a mix of performance and looks. The chassis and components should perform well and the body is a rare car that captures a period in time when technology was only measured with a stop watch.... The motor pod has performed well in proxy racing and uses high quality bushings like the inline we came out with. Titanium axles.... The only non 3D plastic part is the spur gear. About 80% of the car is 3D printed - and to give some idea - the body takes 17 hours to print... It has our 20K motor (true 20k) -currently 64-pitch gears. I'm sort of waiting to see how these are received - not settled on them I think... It's not a slot.it - and it's not a Lemans Miniature... It's somewhere in between that should stick close to a slot.it - and there is room for upgrades if need be.

You can barely count on 2 hands the number of photographs that exists on the internet of the car in 1969... It rolled out at with a few races left in the season and made a go of it. Then the car was destroyed in the second race of 1970 (ran as the "Mornin' Afta" livery). Most of what I learned about it - was from a guy that has built a replica of the second Ti22 from the original blueprints.... Both cars have been destroyed and vanished - Its basically stories and blueprints to create the model for the car.
The second Ti22 built was also in the movie "once upon a wheel" - where Paul Newman shoes it around for a minute or two..... David Hobbs also drove the car and theres video of that as well (forget the name)..... But the first car - Mki - Probably would have won the championship in '70 if it wasn't destroyed....

It's not a massed produced car - and it's somewhat unique. It's not everyones idea of fun - and I get that. I'm working on a few things that hopefully will get some attention later this year.... Time will tell!

Very interested.
Particularly in whether it's reasonably sized or proportioned relative to other Can-Am cars...or is this over sized like the Vanquish cars?
I desperately want it to be proportional.....

Can we have some photos with some Slot-it or the Revogram cars? I know the later cars (McLaren M20 and Porsches) were larger cars, but want it to "look right" with the other cars....
