Anyone have a bare Scalextric NASCAR chassis they don't need. Either the earlier Scalextric sidewinders or the COT. Please send PM.

Did you want a Ford or Chevy chassis? I may have one in good shape. I'll have to look.

I might have a COT Impala chassis too but post from NZ would be horrific. Interested to know what body will be adorning it.

Thanks I'm all set - got one from Arroldn. Putting an old school NASCAR on the newer chassis to settle it down.

Thank you too. Nice looking car. I have a Donnie Allison Torino with a crook chassis and this might be the answer.

If you mean "crooked" or twisted chassis, there is an easy solution. Catch some hot water in something big enough to drown the chassis, after everything is off of it. press it flat, and when the resistance is getting slack, take it out and block it down flat on a surface to cool. Presto. Straight chassis.
