You can clean silicone tires quickly by rolling them on sticky tape, that procedure does not work as well with urethane tires. Dust sticks to silicone tires, but it does not stick to urethane, however urethane tires can get coated with something that will reduce their grip. I use Simple Green or any good surface cleaner like Pine Sol. I tack some microfiber cloth to a board and moisten one end with the cleaner. I roll the tires across the wet area and on across the dry end to wash and dry the tires in one pass. Urethane tires should last a long time, they are much more likely to wear down and have to be replaced before the urethane degraded. I would avoid using solvents on the tires.
