It was fun but challenging to get through 45 cars in a reasonable amount of time without marshals. Alwyn's excellent organisation of the process was a huge benefit. As usual, I found it interesting to drive the different cars but wish I had more time to study the good cars to figure out what makes them good. The best cars were a delight to drive. Any car that can go under 7 s on Luf's track is very good. Only two or three of our club members have a car that can go under 7s. Alwyn has about 50 I think.
As we were running at 12.0 v, power was generally not a limiting factor on this track in spite of the fairly long straight. I would say lack of grip was also generally not a limiting factor, as the vast majority of de-slots were due to tipping, especially for the U2 cars. I find it interesting to see the dominance of the O2 cars.
