Round 8, Vancouver

Looks like we're next. Don't have any pictures of the new track, but we did some test laps tonight and got some video, so you can get an idea of the layout. We'll be running in the opposite direction from the video, and I want to get the scenery done before we run the cars.
Gotta look good for the camera, right?

The new track is 80'6" long, 4" lane spacing and no squeezes (a first for me!)

Great looking track. Bet it will be excellence when the landscaping is done. However it looks like another hard race for the #82 Mustang. Drivers, just remember that the front end washes out bad on this car. Enjoy running all the cars. Looking forward to watching the race. :dance:

Wow.....coming down the hill into that corner is going to be interesting.
Why a great track. Looks very fast and swoopy. Going to be a great race I am sure!

Man... Looks like you have about a 190 degree hairpin coming down from that brutal hill, post the SSs... That should make Tiny Alice in the GoldFish get really tail happy if she stays slotted! ...And should send the number 65 Cortina headed for the pucka-brush, or whatever schenery you end up implementing there... That said, I love the whole course and the wild elevation changes! Should make for a great event! Hmm.. there I go with those exclamation marks again.... I don't do emojis.

Hi Guys
I qualified the cars yesterday and Alwyn has offered to do the spreadsheet, he'll be posting it soon.
Voltage was set at 10 volts.
We hope to run all the cars by Aug 12, bit of a challenge to round up enough guys when the weather is nice.
Meanwhile, I've posted a video on YouTube...
