Guide shoe installation

How much rotational freedom does a guide need in a 1/32 non-magnet chassis? I know the answer is "it depends", but would you say 90* total is enough?

Possibly 90 degrees would be enough. If you race on a track with a very tight hairpin corner a little more travel might be good. If you car is very loose it will hit the stops often and that tends to break the guide flag holder after a while.

90 is fine. Especially on the ovals.
