Oldie brought back from the pits

Postby Ky.Slot Racer » Fri Mar 17, 2017 5:15 pm

This old Mustang has seen a few rebuilds and has ended up in the scrap box 2-3 times. Tomorrow night our club is meeting at one of our smaller tighter wood tracks, and while getting my fleet of classics together I ran across the Stang. So I figured it would get yet another chance at life. Some trued up Monogram NASCAR steelies all around, PGs for the rear, and ninco classic tires in front. Re motored with a big block M/T-5, 9-27 gears, a good turtle wax rub down and it`s a runner again.

here`s the fleet of classics:

I sure wouldn't bet against ya!!!

I have also been pulling out the older builds and "rehabbing" them.

Saves $$$$ and brings just as many smiles!!

Appreciate the comments fellas, sometimes the simplest paint schemes, along with a plain Jane wheel just hits the spot huh. :text-thankyouyellow:
