Just a couple quick pics of my track, more of a test post for the pics.

Please excuse the poor quality as they were snapped on my tablet. I'll snap some better pics soon.

Carrera 4 lane analog
Overall footprint is 8 1/2 ft. X 21 1/2 ft.
Lane lengths are all within 2 inches total just under 70 feet
30 amp adj. v regulated power supply
Combination of PM and Slot it Scp 1 controllers
Trackmate IR timing with 32 hdtv and 15 in. monitor
Stop buttons and directional switches at each station

Run pretty much all non magnet racing with an occasional run of some Scaley/Carrera Trans Am cars with magnets. Fast laps are in the low to mid 6 seconds Real fast :auto-driving: if you dip under 6 seconds with Slot It and NSR cars.
I do have those oh so dreaded number 1 radius curves scattered throughout and a squeeze section but after a few laps you hardly notice. ;)

That is a very nice 4 lane home track. I love the use of elevation to maximize the space.
That looks fast and flowing, should be a blast to race on!

Thanks for the warm welcome. :text-thankyouyellow:

I've been lurking here for awhile (finally registered) and occasionally over on SCI. Started into slots roughly 2 years ago with a 1/24 digital Carrera set bought off Craigslist.

My track has been in many MANY different layouts over those two years and table grew many times as well. Current layout has about 18? or so inches overall in elevation. I do prefer alot of elevation changes on a road course. If I wanted a flat track I'd build an oval (not that there is anything wrong with that )and have thought about that as well. I actually really enjoy the oval forum here, man those oval cars the guys here build sure are (in my best Cartmen voice) Swwweeeeetttttt.

Currently loving this layout, it has a nice rhythm and just enough little changes to keep you on your toes if you want to break a record.

That looks like a lot of fun with the nice wide drift aprons and variety of corner types and elevations!
Thanks for sharing! :)
