50th Anniversary of some of the best.

Postby btaylor » Thu Mar 10, 2016 5:44 am

Some of my favorite cars are celebrating 50 years old this year. I sure remember drooling over these sets and cars at sears when they where new! Still as much fun today as they were 50 years ago. I have lots more, but these are some of my favorites.

That's a cool looking group of formula/Indy cars there, Bob! :text-bravo:

And.................you're posting before 7:00AM.............getting back to the good old days, I'd say..............that's great!

Very cool. I wonder how many of the popular toys of today will be around to see their 50th......

This is cool, yeah I was commercially racing in 1966, yikes.

Maybe someone can help, I remember my only RTR car was a Champion F1, 501 or 505 or 507, I can't remember, vacuum formed body, but it was inline with the chassis (not wire) attached to each end of the motor, if I remember correctly.

Anyone have one? Or a picture or details of one?

Thanks! Bob <><
