Dang, Sir Harold, Henry, Harrison, etc. (I have no idea what Harry is short for after all these years!). That was a lot of work. Not the final work, but all the thinking and experimenting that produced this. I never was all that crazy for the car, but in the interest of the slot car hobby, I definitely feel like I need to do this for solidarity. Seriously, that took some fairly serious dedication, dude. You have my gratitude, as a faithful slot car guy of some 50+ years.

Very nicely done, Harry.
I especially like the homemade adjustable front end. Did you epoxy the screws into the tubing once they were threaded through the chassis? Or do you feel they are tight enough alone?

I have been watching for one of these..I like the version with the big intake. They do take a little work, but nothing that is beyond typical for a Fly Classic. That finished car sure looks smooth!

Another one of my favorite marques! Great job on the tuning, Harry. Looks like a really sweet running little car now.

Really nice approach on the lower grub screw adjustment to the front axle. Is there room for a sister grub screw in the top of the axle holder?

I am going to use this as a guide to re build both of my 914's. I think they would benefit greatly from these improvements.
