Since we are talking small HO layouts...

Postby ChallengerGuy » Mon Dec 29, 2014 10:40 pm

Finally getting around to building my wacky figure 8 in Atlas track. Now that my main track is all setup and the garage pretty clean, it's time to setup a hollow core door (or similar) to accommodate it. Of course it can easily be lengthened with 9-inch straights.

LOL. No way...Drive 'em like you stole 'em. Perhaps a Le Mans start?

THe track is Atlas, the yellow Le Mans is Lionel. You can mix and match those types...then, you can adapt (which I have) from Atlas/Lionel to Model Motoring (Aurora Lock and joiner). From there you can adapt to AFX click track. From AFX you can convert to the modern AFX track. So, basically, you could incorporate every track ever made into one layout. That includes the strange Lionel of the 80s/90s too. I have a boat load of Atlas and Lionel to experiment with (plus Lock and Joiner and AFX). Fun fun fun.
