Vintage Nascar

Thought I'd post a few vintage Nascars just to get things rolling. (Seemed like a good use for the early JL pullbacks!)

Thanks, Jeremy.

We found the mother lode of JL pullbacks being closed out at Dollar Tree years ago, bought as many as we could find and started painting them up with Nascar liveries. I'll look for some additional pictures.

Unfortunately, I seem to be lured by all scales of slot cars!

Thanks for the kind comments. I'll try to dig up a few more photos.

Bob, my current layout is an oval mounted on a door. I acquired it through some shrewd horse trading! I will try to get some pictures of the track with a few cars before too long.

Those cars look great! HOCOC has a class using that type of body that we call Grand Nationals. They are more like SS T-Jets however. We also have a class for cars with stock T-Jet sized tires called Vintage Tin.

Grand Nationals.

Cool stuff! I especially like the Coca Cola sponsorship paint job. Those pullback bodies really do come in handy, don't they? I don't know how many Willys from that series that my friends and I have cut up into gassers, modifieds, ect. Nice work!

Enjoy... Ernie
