Small Ho road courses

Postby BRP32 » Wed Nov 19, 2014 5:20 pm

Hi Guys I came across this website and found this neat little Ho road course.

http://slotcar.zanzaman.com/tracks.html

More are posted here also:

http://www.hoslotcarracing.com/index.html (look under micro tracks on the left of the page)

There are a lot of tracks that looks like a lot of fun in a 2.5' x 4' area.

Everyone has that kind of room to spare to build a fun Ho track.....

It will easily store away when not in use also.

I think I may have enough extra track to possibly pull this off over the Winter.

Just have to wait till bulk trash day to find a hollow door for free possibly!

The small track layout building opportunities are endless.....

Enjoy!

It must be meant to be........

Fate maybe?

I considered building yet another small Ho road course.

Well tonight was bulk trash night and I scored not one but two hollow core doors to build upon from a house around the corner from me. How convenient was that! Thanks to my family for loading them and unloading them for me. Once I get up to speed a little more health wise I will cut them down and let the magic of track design begin!!!!

I see a lot of fun track building in my future!!!! :D :D :D :D

Must be good karma! I was looking on Craig's List. Nothing near me. I will set one up this winter! :handgestures-thumbup: Looking forward to seeing what you come up with.

Hi Jeff!

If it wasn't cost prohibitive, I would send one of the doors for you to use!

I just got lucky to be in the right place at the right time.

Sometimes you get lucky like that. Me not so often though......

I've noticed a trend in my area lately . Those building new tracks and rebuilding , are down sizing to (not mini track) tracks with a maximum footprints of 4X8 . Actually I enjoy close , short course racing .

I've been looking for this link...I saw it years ago and it stuck with me. Thanks for the link. I really like the inspiration about setting up a desk or fold down track. Very very cool. Thanks again. I've bookmarked it this time.

Everyone has room for a little Ho track.

3' x 5' for a small 4 laner is not a storage issue.

I like these small foot print tracks for a lot of action in a small space for good close racing.

I'm glad I could help you out with the website.

Zanzaman has a lot of neat things on his site.
