Who made the orange track ? It appears to be some kind of Tub Track . Did Aurora make 2 versions ?

This is the famous Car Model Track built by Engleman. The track hung on the wall at the old Modelville Hobbies location for many years and was put into storage. There is a fiberglass tub, but the track surface was MDF or something similar, the track was braided, but that was peeling off. The track surface was lost and a new one with conventional rails was made of Sintra by Brad Bowman.

That is a super track . Imagine if someone (Brad Bowman) could have that tub and the Aurora tub made and market them . Although I realize with such a narrow market it would be a cost prohibitive venture .

Someone did replicas of the Aurora tub, I believe that it was in two pieces for easier shipping.

Gotham Cruisers did the reproduction, I don't know if they are still for sale.

There have been other reproductions, try a Google search for Aurora tub track reproduction.

FYI LenJet is getting a replica Aurora tub. The track will have five lanes so there will be wider lane spacing and gutters.
