Thanks for the kind words.

Got the front shocks in. Made from some springs and a paper clip with some
1/16th plastic rod.

All for now

I can always count on your posts to do two things

1. lift my spirits as your work is awesome
2. Make me a little jealous as I don't have any free time for HO modeling anymore

:text-thankyouyellow:

What wheels and tires are on the rear as they appear to be extra wide :?:

Roger

Thanks for the kind words. I hear what your saying about the time thing.
Sometimes I only work an hour or so on a project, but nobody said they have
to be done in one day or a week. They are always there when I get back to them.

In reference to the rear wheels and tires, they are old Aj's. I believe the widest
ones they made for HO. Don't remember the name of them, but I've had them forever.
They are wide and tall and seem to fit this car well for the look of this time period.

Got the frame finished. Headers are installed and touch up done.
Waiting on the body to dry so we can do the graphics.

Color is Duplicolor Storm Gray Metallic, looks black but it's not. This car has taken a long road from the start
to actually being finished but she finally made it.

Hi Kevin,
I've been following your builds for quite a while now, they are fantastic!
I was wondering if you would consider posting a couple of "group" pics of your cars?
Thanks

Dave
I don't have group shots per say, but I did throw this together for ya.

This is some of them. The one group shot is some very old builds, they go far back before bumpers, roll cages and other
small details of the later builds. Fun to look back though and see how far they have come.

All for now

Something else to go along with the other unfinished projects started. Took the rear end of an old GP racer and
mated to a Hot Rod body. When all was dry, sanded and shaped her up a little and filled in the wheel wells.

Image

Shortened up the rear a little and got her fitted on a Magnatraction frame after cutting the nose off.

Image

Image

Shortened the nose up to fit behind the front axle and mated the two back together. Opened up the
sides of the cockpit a little also.

Image

After drying, sanded her up and started molding the the nose to the body. Coming out pretty well, still have some low spots and
pin holes to fill yet before more sanding can be done. Also removed all the grill work as to have a fresh canvas to work with.
There is a roof in store for this one yet, but still a long way down the road for that.

All for now, Have a good Holiday
