I was walking through the local Hobby Lobby with my wife when we walked along the clearance isle. I could not believe my eyes when I saw a whole pile of Auto World slot cars clearanced for $5.77 each. I purchased all 10. I asked the associate what the deal was and she told me they were older cars that had been brought in form stores that had closed and were being moved out to make room for the new stock. I then went to two other hobby lobby stores and found a total of 6 more. I even bought duplicates so I could switch bodies out for different bodies I have collected. I also found a whole mess of other scenery goodies to use on my layout expansion.
