Dash motorsports Ho bodies?

Postby BRP32 » Wed Sep 25, 2013 11:30 am

Does Dash motor sports still make their Ho bodies?

i haven't been in Ho in years but I noticed that dash Ho bodies are no longer being sold at various dealers?

What happened?

They had a nice variety of t-jet style and afx style bodies?

I believe that the Chinese company that had been making the bodies folded up and all of the tooling dropped out of sight. Recently the tooling was located for most of the bodies and they should soon be available once again.

Thanks for the info Rich D.

I appreciate it!

Dash had some cool car bodies in the past and I would like to pick some more up again eventually.

Thanks again!

I see that the Supermodified is back in production and just the chrome parts are available for people like me who use the pipes, nerf bars and bumpers to build vintage coupes and coaches.

The last Bodies being produced by DASH, were his '69 Chevelle Bodies, and there was a large Batch made in 3 colors of ABS Plastic this past year. They are still available thru many outlets like Slot-N-Stuff and Tom Stumpf. These last Chevelles were a limited Yenko(tampo'd) Edition btw.
At the moment, Dan Cashmer has his hands full trying to build 10,000 T-Dash Chassis , and all the parts have just arrived on these shores from China, now the "One Man Show" begins, with him pressing Gears on 10k CHASSIS !
