Thanks Kevin. Yes, wanted to use tube for axle either way and wanted to use GPlus wheels too. It all just worked together. Needed axle tube also after cutting away so much of the chassis sides! Loved doing the detailing, but way too expensive for all the cars I build. Bought a sprint car just to get the headers! $20 just for the headers, can't afford that when I usually have 20 or more cars on the bench! Shocks are heavy paper clips, outside red wire covering from a Parma controller and springs from out of the spare parts cut to length. Fun build strictly inspired by your builds, but it was a long five days putting this one together.

FANTASTIC! Love your Modifieds! Plastic sheet, huh. Wow! I used to make 1/32 scale bodies using poster board and card stock (3x5" file cards.) I tried making compound curves with a home made English Wheel, but didn't have the patience. The poster board held up very well in 1/32 scale despite all attempts to destroy it while racing. The card stock was just too light.
For our Outlaw Modifieds, I've been cutting up scruffy T-jet and AW/JL bodies to come up with Modifieds, but seeing these this gives me inspiration to try building with all the card stock I have left. And if that doesn't work, sheet plastic. Thanks for the inspiration!
