MaxTrax

Postby RichD » Tue Feb 26, 2013 8:00 am

I have owned a MaxTrax for fourteen years now and during the last year or so that outfit has been going through rough times. Yesterday it was announced the Paul Kniffen of Zoomin Motorsports has purchased MaxTrax and will spend the next month or two learning the ropes and making sure that the backlog of orders is delt with. I have raced on at least a half dozen MaxTrax besides my own. Many people consider one piece tracks to be the ultimate thing, but sectional track can come very close with respect to power and smoothness and has the added benefit of being reconfigurable. Every now and then I switch my track to an oval.
I was dismayed to hear that MaxTrax was in trouble, best wishes to Paul Kniffen with his new venture.

Good to hear that MaxTrax will continue. Have run on MaxTrax many times and have enough pieces to set up an oval down the road.

Agree, I raced on one and it was smooth as glass. You could not tell where it joined.

Hope the best for them.
