Swaging the holes may be a better solution to the problem than installing bushings as I have indicated in my article. In addition the JL/AW cluster gear shaft is actually a little too short, so the lower end of it may not reach the hole in the base chassis. A little fussing around with the placement of the gears on the shaft will fix that.
